IBPS Clerk detailed Syllabus and Exam pattern CWE-VII 2017-18 Preliminary and Mains

Every year Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts examination for the post of clerical cadre in PSU banks across India.Exam is conducted in two phases.Tier-1 and Tier-2. Tier 1 is a preliminary examination and tier 2 is main examination.Understanding the detailed syllabus and exam pattern of IBPS Clerk preliminary and mains is the first step of exam preparation.Here we are sharing detailed syllabus and exam pattern of IBPS clerk CWE 7 2017-18 recruitment.

IBPS Clerk Preliminary exam pattern

IBPS Clerk Preliminary exam contains three sections.English Language(30 question), Quantitative/numerical ability(35 questions) and Reasoning(35 questions).Each question carries 1 marks.Inorder to qualify for IBPS Clerk mains examination candidates have to clear sectional cut-off as well as overall cut-off.

IBPS Clerk mains contains  five sections .Reasoning(40 questions),English language(40)Quantitative Aptitude(40 questions),General awareness with reference to banking(40 questions) and computer Knowledge(40 questions).Unlike IBPS Clerk prelims ,IBPS Clerk main has sectional timings Candidates have to attend each section within the time allotted.Details of sectional timings and maximum mark in each section is detailed below.
